Olivi Hotel & Natural Spa

Well where to start, having travelled and been to many locations this is without a doubt the pinnacle of excellence, a combination of luxury with a family feel to the place. From our arrival meeting mikey who is outstanding and helped us with a “slight error” we had made. To being looked after through the stay by the amazing Vincenzo, very funny Dami and ultimate professional luca and of course Girlando (wow what a guy). This place has it all, great staff who make you feel like family, great rooms and food that would make you think you were in a Michelin star restaurant. Folks we plan on returning every year now not just for the location but in the hope of meeting the staff again. Thanks - you have been wonderful. Mark & Lesley-Ann

We spent 3 nights here and wished we had booked longer. The hotel is spotlessly clean,as are the pool area and gardens. The outdoor salt pool was lovely and lots of loungers available around the pool. We had a 3 hour spa which was one of the best hotel spas we have been to. Also a full body massage which was amazing and ended with a skewer of fresh fruit waiting for me in Reception. All the staff are very helpful. We would definitely return here and explore more of the lake. Be aware that the old part of the town is very geared up for tourists.

Very comfortable hotel with very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Spotlessy clean. Beautiful pool area. Very close to the lake and town centre. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Sirmione

We recently traveled (early April 2025) to Northern Italy from the United States for a birthday celebration. We arrived to the Olivi Hotel as our second destination in the early afternoon. We were well-treated by the hotel staff during check-in. We were given several recommendations for lunch in the local shopping area and we were happy to walk down the hill for lunch and shopping. After several hours (including both lunch and dinner), we returned to the hotel for drinks at the bar and were delightfully treated with local spritzes and beer. There were cats around the property and inside the public space, including the bar area, of the hotel. The cats are very nice and most are playful. Our party sat, had drinks and played with the cats. It's clearly a very charming part of the property. We ultimately retired to our rooms and learned that the air conditioning had not been turned on yet within the hotel. It was unseasonably warm outside (which was great for our trip) but also made the rooms unseasonably room for sleeping. We ultimately opened the windows and enjoyed the cooler night air. For us, it made a great experience once we opened the windows. The room was otherwise fantastic and we slept well. The following morning, we were treated to a very nice breakfast buffett that was better than expected. The second day was similar to the first day. We were well-treated by staff who had recommendations for us about potential activities. Later in the day, we returned to the hotel, sat at the bar and played with the cat. Ultimately, our stay at the Olivi Hotel was excellent. We would highly recommend. The cats, for us, were very positive but should be noted if severe allergies are present. The cats were not present in the eating areas, the public halls or hotel rooms. The only other mildly negative comment was related to the spa options available. We did not arrange spa reservations prior to arriving at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were told that there were no available times for us at the spa either of the days that we stayed at the Olivi Hotel. We did not visit the hotel for the spa so it was not a problem but if you desire this experience, I would plan to pre-book to ensure you have the possibility. Altogether, highly recommend. It was an experience that will be hard to forget.

The hotel looks beautiful but it’s the hardest and most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever tried to slept on! I didn’t dare complain as when I ask what to do about the fact that the room was like a sauna I was meet with what I can only call aggression! I am aware that Italy switches off its A/C in October but usually you can open a window. This room 101 only has patio doors, which obviously you cannot leave open at night, nor in the evening as the room got full of flys, the sheer curtain was broken so even that was no help in preventing flys entering. It was a disaster of a holiday Coffee sachets were only left twice in the room even though they say they provide tea & coffee, if you ask for more they are not keen on handing them out! I would have brought my own coffee if I’d know. This holiday was for my 60th birthday and all I can say is I wish I’d never booked it. Also don’t expect smily, friendly faces with a few exceptions the staff are very unfriendly especially the girls serving breakfast! Not my best holiday

Excellent, friendly and relaxed hotel in a beautiful location. We had the balcony room with fantastic views of Lake Garda and Sirmione. Staff were really friendly and made everyone feel as you’d expect from a top hotel. The decor and finishes throughout were first class and spotless. Pet friendly also, now that’s making the difference. So nice. Highly recommended and we will revisit ASAP.
