Me and another 5 friends stayed there on April 4 2012. What can I say, it shows a 2 star hotel at the entrance but let me tell you, I have been many places and usually a 2 star is a 2 star, but for this one in particular the stars do not make justice! It is impeccable, looks and must be new, it is extremely clean and modern throughout, starting from the rooms and all the way down to the dining area, very modern indeed. Location is great, downtown, across the street from the Townhall and municipal parking, step to Obertoberstrase plaza and market, the place to shop and eat. Great location and priced accordingly, €78/ night plus €78 for what they call "Bio" breakfast...all "Organic" for the North Americans. Amazing food and variety. Tasty and plenty! Fully recommended!

Der erste Eindruck von außen war nicht sehr einladend. Aber die Dame an der Rezeption (Spartanisch eingerichtet ) war sehr höflich und nett. Das Einzelzimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch sauber. Der Ausblick auf den Hof ist nicht einladend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt voll und ganz. Wenn ich hier wieder hier in Gegend bin immer wieder. 2 Sterne ist in Wirklichkeit 3 Sterne wert.

Hôtel central et bien placé, chambre correcte propre. Attention tout de même pour les personnes sensibles au bruit les chambres côté rue sont bruyantes, beaucoup de bars aux environs donc allées et venues de la rue voiture, piétons jusque tard dans la nuit. Faible isolation phonique de chambre à chambre, on entend le voisin tousser et marcher. Mais cela suffit pour une nuit car le prix est quand même imbattable. A notre l'accueil et le service en salle de petit déjeuner qui est irreprochable, très sympathique et agréable.

Von außen nicht auf den ersten Blick zu erkennen, welch geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtetes Hotel sich hier mitten in Saarbrücken befindet. Dazu noch ein echter "Bio-Betrieb", in dem Wert auf die Herkunft und Qualität der Speisen sowie ökologische und soziale Verantwortung im allgemeinen gelegt wird. Toll! War leider nur für eine Nacht geschäftlich hier - hätte es auch länger aushalten können!

Das Madeleine liegt sehr zentral bei der Johanneskirche am Rande des Nauwieser Viertels. Man findet viele schöne Kneipen in der Nähe und ist auch schnell zum shoppen in der Fußgängerzone. Für den wirklich günstigen Übernachtungspreis bekommt man ein einfaches, aber sauberes Zimmer. Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toll fand ich das Frühstück. Man hat Auswahl zwischen 4 Varianten. Alles geschmacklich wunderbar und selbstgemacht. Kleines Manko: Wer mit dem Auto kommt, parkt auf dem ca. 200 m entfernten Beethoven-Parkplatz. Das Hotel bietet zwar eine Verbilligung der Gebühren an (＞Nachfragen), aber selbst damit sind es ímmer noch 12 €/Tag (....wenn ich mich recht erinnere...)

Älteres Haus aber neu renoviert. Hatten ein DZ, Zimmer hatte kleinen Grundriss. Umgebung mit einigen Obdachlosen aber auch nah zum Zentrum. Personal alle durchweg freundlich. Frühstück seht gut, auch gutes Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Bio Hotel bietet zum Frühstücksbuffet mal viele selbstgemachte Produkte, was durchaus interessant ist. Ist man aber auf der Suche nach den klassischen Frühstückssachen wird man diese hier nicht finden. Obwohl an manchen Ecken das Konzept nicht wirklich stringend durchgezogen wird. Die Rezeption ist 24h besetzt.
