Perfect location for our second time in Florence. Loved this authentic, gritty neighbourhood. Since we were driving the ease of the attached subterranean garage was a blessing. So user friendly which ensured a totally seamless check in.
The “Hell” themed garden room was epic! Creative interior design and a large space for all our suitcases. We loved listening to the birdsong in the mornings.
We dined in the restaurant one night which was amazing!! I had a celeriac dish that was so delicious I wish the portion had been three times the volume! We’d been driving around Italy for five weeks by this point so for vegetables to feature on a menu in this way was much appreciated.

The room size was good, modern design & beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good.

When we checked in, we were assigned to a disabled room. When we went to sleep at around 1 a.m., we found bugs on our pillows. When we reported these two things to the front desk, the answer was to change us to another disabled room with a different theme or to clean the room again. Because I was quite sleepy at the time, I agreed to the latter option. The waiter changed our bed sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases and left. When we checked in in the afternoon, we were assigned to a disabled room, but when we dealt with this matter at night, we found that the hotel was checking in another couple and they were checking in a normal room. Therefore, we suspect that the hotel has implicit discrimination against us and the hygiene problem is very poor, just like the hygiene of some love hotels. The pillow cores and quilt cores are all yellow. You can stay in a better hotel at this price, don't choose this hotel!
