Really lovely new hotel only a short walk or tuk tuk ride from Galle Face area. Room was excellent - the sofa could do with a steam clean but the rest of the room and bathroom immaculate. Stunning views from room and rooftop pool and bar over the water and Colombo. Staff really lovely. Would stay here again!!
I have booked this hotel on Ctrip many times. Safety! The hotel is very grand and the service is first-rate! The breakfast has a variety of varieties, especially the fresh fruits are many and sweet, and the coconut juice is great ๐
Pricing was excellent. Location was close to National Museums, the beach, shopping districts, and more all within either 10 min walking distance to 5-10 min tuk-tuk ride. Cleanliness was overall very clean. However, in our first night at the smoking-allowed floor, we found two small termites on our bed. Rest of the night was completely fine and when we eventually moved to a non-smoking floor, we had no bug issues at all. Now the best highlights of Cinnamon Red were their service, hospitality, and facilities. With a small but quaint pool and deck on the top floor, we watched the beautiful Sri Lanka sunset. There's a decent gym there too. Breakfast was marvelous, that is if you don't mind having Sri Lankan style breakfast of spices, curries, and egg hoppers - โwesternโ options were plenty from poached eggs, bacons, sausages fruits, musseuli, yogurt, order-made omelets, waffles and pancakes, all accompanied by the famous Ceylon tea to die for. Lastly, I cannot praise enough the kindness, hospitality, and smiles from the staff. They were incredibly helpful and supportive to any and all of our requests. Do bring your own soap, shampoo, and conditioners and cameras because the way the hotel is designed, you get an unclustered, incredible view of Colombo from any room.

The hotel seems to have just opened for more than a month. The hardware is basically up to standard. The beds are also qualified. The service is quite enthusiastic and hard-working. But the management is a bit chaotic and far inferior to those managed by foreign capital. I hope to become proficient in the work as soon as possible. The hotel buffet is pretty good. The Italian restaurant on the 26th floor is also OK, but the quality of the room service needs to be improved. In terms of cost performance, this hotel is very high.
During the last few days in Colombo, I chose the Sheraton, which is conveniently located. The price is very good for the New Year's Day. The room is quite large, clean, relatively new facilities, and the service is also very good. You can get a tuk-tuk when you go out. It is very convenient to walk to Galle Face. There is a supermarket downstairs. The train station is next to the sea. In the morning, I got on the train station and waited for a while. The photo was over~
The breakfast is quite rich. There are many kinds of juice and bread. You can fry any meat you want. The only thing to avoid is that it is best to request no connecting rooms when checking in. We are in 1209 opposite the elevator. The neighbors who checked in at midnight can hear the talking, singing, and even whistling clearly. The sound insulation is a bit poor. People who sleep light must request it when checking in.
The room's condition did not meet the expected standards. The walls were in poor condition, and the shower door did not close properly, requiring me to hold it shut while showering. Additionally, the duvet cover was torn. As a five-star establishment, we anticipate a higher level of quality and were disappointed with the current state of the room.
This hotel is right next to a pharmacy as well as next to a market . However , it really isnโt close to the sites I donโt think. Considering it to be a third world country in a sense , the hotel itself wasnโt that bad. The service hotel service was timely and everyone was friendly . Really enjoyed the pool area
Amazing historical colonial hotel. Staff are very attentive but do need to use initiative sometimes to solve guests needs & wants instead of following every rule set down no matter how small or irrelevant those rules are.
I wld highly recommend this hotel as we had a great stay there ๐๐๐๐
Perfect location. Hotel rooms are big and clean. Customer care and room service was excellent. Recommend this place for your short vacations with family and friends.
The hotel is quite clean, there is a swimming pool, there was no refrigerator in the room, the food in the restaurant is not very suitable for Russians, they cook unusually and not tasty. The food in the restaurants of Unyvatuna was much better. The location is very good. If you have not been to Colombo before, I highly recommend taking a tour from a tuk tuk driver, they offer tours at the hotels. You can negotiate for 4000 rupees. He will briefly tell you in English and drive around Colombo for 3 or 4 hours. We saw all the main sights and the driver waited at the temples and museums. Despite the fact that at the resorts they offer to pay for a tour of the same places, but with a Russian guide for 100 dollars per person. The price is not justified.

XXIAOXUANThe room is a little bit small, but unfortunately there is no room in the courtyard.
AAnonymous UserOverall I liked the hostel, nothing special, cheap but cheerful. There is air conditioning in the room and it's good!
In general, even a normal bed, just without a blanket, just one sheet.)
GGuest UserThe owner was very kind and helped me with the recommendation of the restaurant, the mailing procedure, the copy of the document, etc.
I don't usually write a review, but the staff ใ was very kind and I wanted to stay again when I came to Colombo, so I asked him to write a review.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
GGuest UserNo yf, I booked a room for 2 days. After staying for one night, I went to Galle with no room but a bag. I called the hotel and told them that I would wait until around 3 pm to pick up the bag and check out. I told the hotel that it was okay. They took my bag to the front desk for cleaning, but when I went to the hotel the receptionist asked me to pay an extra half day's room rate. I told them that I had called them, but they didn't know. In the end, I had to pay half a day's room rate before leaving!
